Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, semi-trailers) within San Francisco Bay Area
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and DOT regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route changes or delays
- Ensure cargo security and temperature compliance (when applicable)
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Bay Area routes and traffic patterns
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
