Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional deliveries within 500-mile radius
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Handle loading/unloading procedures with proper equipment usage
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate delivery status updates to clients and dispatch
- Maintain clean driving record and vehicle maintenance documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean 3-year MVR
- Minimum 2 years tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with mountain driving conditions and winter weather protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Basic navigation skills and GPS device proficiency
- Strong time management and customer service abilities
