Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to transport cargo safely and on schedule.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is secured properly to prevent damage.
- Navigate efficiently through various routes in Florida and surrounding states.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) and drug screen on file.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and DOT drug screen.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety procedures.
