Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (53' dry van) for local/regional routes
- Execute timely deliveries while maintaining strict delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle conditions
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Optimize routes using GPS navigation systems
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Boston metro area roadways and regulations
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for early morning starts (4-5 AM)
