Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods and materials to designated locations in and around Boston
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as per DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Secure and properly handle cargo during transit
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license required
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic knowledge of Boston area and surrounding routes
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Physical ability to climb in/out of vehicle and handle cargo
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Previous truck driving experience preferred but not required
