Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo.
- Maintain accurate DOT logs and electronic logging devices (ELD) in accordance with regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including signature collection and proof of delivery.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license required.
- Achieved or working towards a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in commercial driving or logistics.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and electronic logging devices.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
