Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for long-haul routes between Austin, TX and Florida destinations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Adhere to strict delivery timelines and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for route adjustments and cargo verification
- Manage loading/unloading procedures at distribution centers
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning
- Report maintenance issues and ensure vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with FMCSA regulations
- Strong time management and communication skills
