Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes with maximum efficiency
- Strict adherence to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and safety protocols
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance
- Safely transport time-sensitive cargo through Portland metro and Pacific Northwest corridors
- Utilize GPS technology and digital logging systems for optimal route planning
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate with dispatch teams
- Participate in quarterly safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- HazMat endorsement required (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate in all weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient with electronic logging devices and fleet management software
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for overnight shifts and occasional weekend work
