Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and parcels to residential and commercial addresses in the New York area.
- Verify delivery contents against delivery receipts and obtain signatures where required.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, road regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices to log stops, scans, and proof of delivery efficiently.
- Load and unload cargo carefully to prevent damage or loss.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class D or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ownership of a reliable vehicle suitable for delivery work (or willingness to use company vehicle).
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and smartphone apps.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
