Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within Atlanta metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for high-value shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure maximum efficiency
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at distribution centers
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and customers proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience (delivery or commercial preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Atlanta neighborhoods and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and customer service abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Smartphone proficiency for route management apps
