Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for long-haul and regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and document maintenance logs accurately
- Manage cargo loading/unloading with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding route updates
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification and TWIC card
- Proven experience in long-haul/over-the-road driving
- Familiarity with California roadways and weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours
- Strong time-management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
