Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections ensuring vehicle compliance and safety
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation per DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo securely using proper equipment and techniques
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and traffic laws
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Complete required safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license (required)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety protocols
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel throughout Ohio region
