Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport and deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are secure and accounted for during transit.
- Provide outstanding customer service by answering questions and handling any delivery concerns professionally.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to maintain cleanliness and ensure mechanical safety.
- Utilize handheld devices to track routes, log delivery times, and update customer statuses.
- Maintain a professional appearance and a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major infractions).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong navigational skills with experience using GPS and mapping applications.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
