Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, or merchandise to customers within specified timeframes
- Operate company vehicles responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Verify delivery details, maintain accurate records, and obtain customer signatures when required
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolve delivery issues promptly, and represent the company professionally
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical concerns immediately
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Collaborate with dispatch team to adjust schedules based on traffic and delivery demands
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 21 years of age with ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable personal smartphone with GPS capability for route navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and tip calculations
- Previous delivery or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Fluency in English; bilingual Spanish speakers encouraged to apply
