Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles (van, box truck) to transport goods to various destinations in Illinois.
- Load and unload cargo carefully to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures upon successful delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
- Complete daily logs and vehicle inspection reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer skills for navigating delivery routes and logging hours.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
