Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Wichita metro area.
- Load and unload cargo from delivery vehicles in an organized and efficient manner.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure proper handling of all items to prevent damage.
- Collect signatures and payments where necessary; maintain accurate delivery logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and fuel-efficient.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers regarding delivery issues or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and logging.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the depot.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
