Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and merchandise to customers across the Houston metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and proof of delivery documentation
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps (Google Maps, Waze)
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service communication abilities
- Reliable personal vehicle or access to insured vehicle
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
