Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages and goods throughout Indianapolis metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Handle fragile or high-value packages with utmost care
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues proactively
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class A or B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis streets and GPS navigation systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Basic computer literacy for delivery tracking systems
