Responsibilities
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently to ensure timely arrival at destinations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all packages are handled with care and accounted for.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures as required by company policy.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving delivery issues professionally.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company protocols at all times.
- Report any vehicle issues or incidents immediately to fleet management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning.
- Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and punctuality.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
