Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and route planning to meet customer deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and support teams regarding route changes or delays.
- Uphold the company's high standards for safety and professional conduct at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (Preferred for top pay).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
