Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on regional routes throughout Florida
- Adhere to DOT regulations and strict safety protocols at all times
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintenance documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient load planning and delivery timelines
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logging system
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Florida residency required for regional routes
