Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation for all deliveries and mileage
- Adapt to changing delivery schedules and route conditions while meeting deadlines
- Collaborate with dispatch and logistics teams to optimize delivery efficiency
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company regulations and policies
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and defensive driving techniques
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks and outdoor conditions
