Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Deliver freight on schedule while maintaining accurate delivery records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
- Perform post-trip inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Maintain professional conduct while representing the company brand
Qualifications
- Valid CDL License (Class A or B) required
- No prior commercial driving experience necessary
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic math skills for documentation and route planning
- Flexible availability including weekends and overnight trips
