Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route progress and delays
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining quality standards
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate vehicle servicing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging device (ELD) systems
