Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for delivery and transportation.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, securing freight properly to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including electronic logging device (ELD) logs and delivery receipts.
- Maintain a professional appearance and a clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding route changes and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) required.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience (preferred).
- Current DOT Medical Card (physical exam required).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no DUIs or major violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
