Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) across designated routes in California
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Utilize GPS navigation and route planning tools for efficient transit
- Document all delivery activities and report incidents/defects promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR (Moving Violation Report) with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of California traffic laws and route geography
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Flexibility for early morning/late evening shifts and occasional weekends
