Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (dry vans, reefers) safely and efficiently across Florida and Southeastern US routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and safety protocols
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging system entries
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for timely load pickups/deliveries
- Maintain professional communication with clients and warehouse personnel
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work variable schedules including nights/weekends
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
- Excellent time management and route optimization abilities
