Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (dry van, flatbed, reefers)
- Adhere to DOT regulations and pre/post-trip inspections
- Deliver freight on time to multiple Southeastern states
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logs (ELD)
- Collaborate with dispatch for route optimization
- Inspect and secure cargo before transit
- Report vehicle maintenance needs proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (FL or NC accepted)
- Minimum 1 year OTR or regional experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Knowledge of Jacksonville metro area routes
- hazmat endorsement preferred but not required
