Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional freight delivery
- Strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Efficient loading/unloading of cargo at port terminals and warehouses
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route optimization
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining pristine vehicle condition
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Knowledge of Long Beach port operations and local routes
- HAZMAT certification preferred (training provided)
