Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper documentation and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any issues encountered.
- Uphold a professional image and demonstrate excellent customer service skills at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT medical card (medical examiner's certificate) available.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than two moving violations in the last three years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to undergo CDL training if entry-level (some positions available).
