Responsibilities
Safely operate a Class A Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) in and around the Austin, TX area.Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure compliance.Load and unload cargo accurately using loading docks and forklifts.Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records in accordance with FMCSA regulations.Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than two preventable accidents in the last 3 years.Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.Basic math skills for toll transactions and cargo verification.Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
