Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, adhering to weight restrictions and securing loads properly.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery records, and paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes or delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) with a clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Basic math skills and ability to read maps and GPS navigation systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties required for loading and unloading.
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism on the road.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
