Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van & refrigerated) over local/regional routes
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for route optimization and load tracking
- Maintain professional communication with clients and warehouse personnel
- Ensure proper loading/unloading of freight with provided equipment
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle defects promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
