Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on designated routes following strict schedules
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Implement student safety protocols during loading/unloading and transit
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Manage student behavior with positive reinforcement techniques
- Adhere to all federal/state transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with School Bus endorsement
- Minimum 3 years driving experience
- Pass background check and DOT physical examination
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible hours (early mornings/afternoons)
