Responsibilities
- Collect and transport packages from distribution centers to residential and commercial addresses in Sacramento and surrounding areas.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure accurate drop-off of items, obtaining signatures when required.
- Maintain the delivery vehicle in a clean and organized condition, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.
- Provide exceptional customer service by being punctual, professional, and courteous to clients.
- Update delivery status in the company tracking system in real-time.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C California Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of the Sacramento area, including back roads and highways.
- Basic proficiency with mobile GPS technology and smartphone apps.
- Physical stamina to lift packages (up to 50lbs) and stand for extended periods.
