Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and transport goods to designated locations throughout San Jose and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and customer documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and handle customer inquiries professionally
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure efficiency and timely service
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and verify order accuracy
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of San Jose area geography
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility to work early mornings and occasional weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
