Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to designated customers and drop-off points.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, dollies, and forklifts as required.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and daily paperwork.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Manage time efficiently to meet daily route targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card.
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems and handheld devices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
