Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles on designated routes throughout Sacramento and surrounding areas
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and pickups
- Adapt routes efficiently for traffic conditions and delivery schedules
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic proficiency with delivery tracking software
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
