Responsibilities
- Transport packages and documents to designated addresses in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
- Practice excellent customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor during deliveries.
- Inspect vehicles for damage before and after routes and report maintenance needs immediately.
- Utilize handheld scanners and GPS systems to ensure accurate tracking and route optimization.
- Prepare accurate delivery logs and handle paperwork, including signatures and proof of delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or a standard state driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate Miami’s traffic patterns effectively.
- Proficiency in using mobile devices and delivery management software.
- Physically capable of lifting packages up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for communication and navigation.
