Responsibilities
- Secure Delivery: Ensure the safe and timely transport of parcels to designated addresses in the Arlington area and surrounding regions.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with customers, ensuring a positive first and last impression.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Route Optimization: Plan efficient routes to ensure on-time arrivals while strictly adhering to traffic laws.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs and handle all required paperwork for each route.
- Problem Resolution: Handle package exceptions and resolve delivery issues on the spot.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class C Driver's License required; Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Background Check: Must possess a clean driving record and pass a background check.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using mobile apps for navigation and delivery confirmation.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
