Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial tractor-trailers for long-haul deliveries across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD)
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and load management
- Uphold strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Communicate effectively with customers and warehouse personnel
- Manage cargo loading/unloading procedures when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in using ELD systems and navigation technology
- Flexibility for extended overnight travel (4-6 weeks on road)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety excellence and regulatory compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
