Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations throughout Reno
- Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including assistance with unloading
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation to optimize delivery times and fuel consumption
- Inspect vehicles daily, report maintenance needs, and adhere to safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and communicate delays
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and inventory management as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Reno metropolitan area and surrounding neighborhoods
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery tracking systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot location
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by company policy
