Responsibilities
- Operate Class A tractor-trailers for dedicated regional routes within a 300-mile radius of Louisville
- Complete timely deliveries of freight while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, documenting all maintenance requirements
- Utilize electronic logging systems (ELD) to maintain accurate hours-of-service records
- Build strong customer relationships through professional communication and on-time delivery
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency and troubleshoot delivery issues
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with hazmat placarding (HME certification preferred)
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Strong commitment to safety compliance and defensive driving
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
