Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and other heavy equipment for material transport and delivery
- Conduct daily pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload construction materials at job sites with precision and efficiency
- Collaborate with site supervisors and ground crews to meet project timelines
- Document deliveries and maintain electronic trip records
- Perform minor equipment troubleshooting and report mechanical issues
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating dump trucks or heavy haul vehicles
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Proficiency in operating manual transmissions and air brake systems
- Strong knowledge of Orlando area routes and construction site protocols
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
