Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure mechanical safety and report any defects.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers while managing delivery schedules.
- Uphold a clean driving record and demonstrate a professional demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT physical clearance.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
