Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight within New York State and regional routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections, secure cargo, and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Communicate professionally with clients and warehouse personnel
- Minor loading/unloading assistance when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
