Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight across designated routes using commercial vehicles
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Communicate effectively with clients and warehouse personnel
- Handle loading/unloading operations with appropriate equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Buffalo metro area and surrounding regions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
