Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight across Colorado and regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
- Manage route optimization to maximize efficiency and minimize transit time
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and cargo securement
- Strong knowledge of Colorado roadways and regional geography
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic navigation systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
