Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods within Tampa Bay area and regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling throughout transportation process
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Tampa-area geography and major highways
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement techniques
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
