Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight to regional destinations using Class A CDL vehicles
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and adhere to strict DOT compliance standards
- Plan efficient routes while maintaining delivery timelines and GPS documentation
- Handle secure loading/unloading procedures with specialized equipment
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route changes and delays
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Represent our brand through professional customer interactions at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification and TWIC card preferred
- Proficiency in electronic logging systems and route navigation apps
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate freight handling equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for irregular hours and overnight travel as needed
- Drug-free workplace compliance with pre-employment screening
- Knowledge of hazardous materials handling (Hazmat endorsement a plus)
